Broadmoor West Course
The West Course has plenty of doglegs and nasty greens.

Golf Digest's Best Places to Play rating: (4 of 5 stars)

A combination of the original 1918 Donald Ross design and the Robert Trent Jones Sr. 1955 design, the West Course is a challenging layout coupled with spectacular views.

This layout, where Jack Nicklaus won the 1959 U.S. Amateur, has more doglegs and steeply angled greens than the East Course.

The West also plays tighter off the tee as the fairways are heavily tree-lined. Add in water hazards on a trio of par 3s and it's easy to see why the West Course was chosen to host the 1998 PGA Cup Matches.
