The course, designed by George C. Thomas, Jr. in 1923, not only has hosted a Champions Tour event, but also served as the setting for the film "Shangri-La".

No. 11 is one of the more interesting holes on the course. From the back tees, it plays as a par 4 with a tee shot over a valley. From the front markers, it's a straightforward par 3.
