Tournament could be extended to Monday
MILAN, Italy -- The second round of the Italian Open golf tournament was postponed Friday because of rain.
Heavy overnight rains continued through the morning, causing severe flooding of the course at Tolcinasco Golf & Country Club.
Tournament director Mike Stewart said any delays Saturday could mean the tournament will be extended to Monday or cut to 54 holes.
Mark Roe of England and Gregory Havret of France shared the lead at 8-under 64 after the first round.
