Starr Pass Golf Club
3645 W. Starr Pass Blvd.
Tucson, AZ 85745

Originally designed by Robert Cupp along with a group of PGA touring pros including Craig Stadler, and re-designed in 2003 by Palmer Course Design, Starr Pass is a fair test for players of all levels. A third nine also is under construction and will open in 2005. When it opens the Starr Pass layout will change dramatically. The current back nine will remain the same. However, the new nine will weave into the current front nine after No. 7. The new nine will play as holes 8-16 and then rejoin the old front nine at No. 8. The long par-4 ninth hole is being lengthened and will play as a par-5 when the third nine opens.

The Starr in Starr Pass is for Richard Starr, who in 1884 blazed a trail through the Tucson Mountains and the actual Pass can be seen from the 15th tee.
