Grossinger Country Club (Big G)
127 Grossinger Road
Liberty, New York 12754
The tradition of Grossinger Country Club dates back more that 75 years and during that period the course has hosted a number events, including the New York State Open. Considered one of the most beautiful layouts in the Northeast, Grossinger Country Club has earned its 4 1/2 star rating from Golf Digest's Best Places to Play.
Joe Finger rebuilt the A.W. Tillinghast course in 1968. Golf notables such as Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead and Lee Elder returned time and again to conquer the demanding Par 71, 6,907-yard layout. No. 13 is the course's signature hole, with an elevated tee that looks over a fairway that is well guarded on the left by Grossinger's Lake.
