County Louth Golf Club
Drogheda, Louth, Ireland

Approximately 45 minutes north of Dublin lies one of Ireland's hidden gems, County Louth Golf Club. Better known as Baltray, for the small fishing village it's located in, the course features turbulent dunesland on many holes and a quartet of the best par 3s to be found anywhere.

The course is laid out in two loops covering some 190 acres with no two holes running in the same direction-the only exception being the 12th and 13th which run along the sea. Simpson also only saw the need to place 50 bunkers to defend the course.
