This Floyd Farley design opened in 1960 and quickly built a reputation as being a friendly layout for the high handicapper. Not overly lengthy at 6,412 yards from the tips, the fairways are wide and the greens inviting.

Still, miracles do happen at Miracle Hill. In fact, the 10th hole here holds the distinction of being the site of the longest-ever straight -shot hole-in-one-444 yards! Robert Mitera achieved the feat here on October 7, 1965. Mitera, a two-handicap player, had a 50 mph gust carry his tee shot over a 290-yard drop off. The group in front testified to the remaining distance. This feat is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
