Need To Know
Riviera Country Club 1250 Capri Drive Pacific Palisades, California 90272 310-454-6591

Riviera hosted the 1948 U.S. Open won by Ben Hogan and also has served as the site of the PGA Tour's annual Los Angeles stop (except in 1998) since 1973. The list of players who have won here reads like a "Who's Who" of golf and includes Tom Watson, Johnny Miller, Fred Couples, Tom Kite and Ernie Els.

Long hitters like to think "let 'er rip" on this 315-yard par 4, but it's usually in vain. The green slopes severely from right to left making it almost impossible to stop such a shot on the putting surface. Bobby Nichols, the 1964 PGA Champion, once made a 9 on this hole.
