Billy Casper began caddieing at San Diego Country Club as a 13-year-old in 1944. Today, with 51 tour titles and three major championships to his credit, Casper is an honorary member of the club and the grillroom is named in his honor.

The layout at San Diego CC is old-style -- in a good way. Fairways framed by trees and smartly shaped bunkers provide enough of a challenge that the course has hosted the 1964 U.S. Women's Open and 1993 U.S. Women's Amateur.
