JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- Ricky Barnes birdied his final hole Saturday to finish with a 68 and a share of the lead in the Nationwide Tour's Oregon Classic.

Tim Wilkinson of New Zealand shot a 67 to finish the third round with Barnes with a score of 13-under 203 at Shadow Hills Country Club.

"I'm just comfortable here. It's like New Zealand where I grew up," said Wilkinson. "The conditions are similar in that there are a lot of trees and a lot of wind. It's almost like playing your home course. It feels the same."

Wilkinson was in second place after 54 holes last year when rain forced the cancellation of the final round and the title went to Jeff Gove.

Cliff Kresge had a 67 Saturday for a 12-under 204 on the par-72, 7,007-yard course near Eugene.

Barnes, the 2002 U.S. Amateur champion and standout at Arizona, has made 18 straight cuts on the Nationwide Tour.

"I found something yesterday and just left myself with a lot of good opportunities today. I had a lot of putts close to the hole," he said. "I just made it real easy on myself."

Former Oregon Duck John Ellis (68) and Fran Quinn (71) were three shots back.

Eugene's Jeff Quinney, who was sixth on the money list, had a 71 Saturday for a 4-under 212.

University of Oregon golf coach Casey Martin had a 72 and was 1-under after 36 holes.

Martin, who battled the PGA Tour for the right to use a golf cart in competition, has been playing professionally since 1998, much of it on the Nationwide Tour.

Jason Allred, who grew up in Ashland, and Craig Kanada of Lake Oswego did not make the cut.
