INCHEON, South Korea -- In-Kyung Kim thrilled local fans with a 45-foot birdie on the final hole and shot a 3-under 69 to take a one-shot lead Saturday after the second round of the LPGA Kolon Championship.

Kim shot a bogey-free round and is at 5-under 139 heading into Sunday's finale of the 54-hole event.

She leads Hee-Won Han of South Korea (69) and England's Karen Stupples (70), who had four birdies in her opening 10 holes.

"With this wind, I didn't make any bogeys out there," Kim said. "The last birdie was something else."

Katherine Hull, who led by two shots after the opening round, struggled on the second day at the new Sky 72 golf club. The Australian followed an opening-round 66 with a 4-over 76, failing to fire a single birdie and falling three strokes off the lead.

Defending champion and world No. 4 Suzann Pettersen recovered from a poor opening day, but even after a bogey-free 3-under 69, the Norwegian is still seven shots off the pace.

American star Paula Creamer, who is fifth in the world rankings, also carded a bogey-free round of 69 and is five shots off the lead.
