Euro Tour still Martin Kaymer's 'home'
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates -- Martin Kaymer says he will not be joining the U.S. PGA Tour next year and plans to stick with the European Tour.
The PGA champion says he talked it over with his family and manager and concluded that trying to compete on both tours was not possible.
The No. 3-ranked German says he will play several U.S. events, but calls the European Tour "his home" and says he feels "comfortable in Europe."
Kaymer is eligible for a five-year exemption for winning a major. His girlfriend is from Arizona and the German spent time there before becoming a star.
