GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Tiger Woods may be aiming for a Grand Slam when he competes in the PGA Championship next month at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska. General Mills is aiming for a grand slam of its own.

The Golden Valley-based maker of Wheaties has teamed with Buick, original sponsor of the PGA Tour for five decades, to produce cereal boxes featuring Woods together with two free special-edition Nike Golf Balls and a chance to win a new Buick Rendevous.

"With our history of recognizing championship achievement, this partnership with Buick featuring Tiger just makes sense,'' said Brian Kittelson, Wheaties marketing manager.

The PGA Championship will be Aug. 12-18 at Hazeltine.

If Woods wins next week's British Open, he'll go for the Grand Slam in Minnesota. He's already won the U.S. Open and the Masters this year.
