Meesawat, Moreno win Junior World titles
SAN DIEGO -- Prom Meesawat of Thailand shot par 72 for the fourth straight day to win the boys 15-17 title at the Callaway Junior World championships.
Meesawat finished with a four-round total of 288 at Torrey Pines South. He beat Benjamin Alvarado of Chile, who shot a 74 Friday to finish two strokes back.
The girls' winner was Paolo Moreno of Colombia, who shot a 3-under 71 on Torrey Pines North for a four-round total of 283. Hannah Jun of San Diego was two strokes back after shooting a 71.
