CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Another day, and some more scoring records are set at the Gila River Classic on the Buy.com Tour.

D.A. Points tied the course record Saturday on the 6,994-yard Whirlwind Golf Club with his 10-under 61, but David Branshaw still has put together the three finest rounds in the chase for the top spot in the $425,000 tournament.

Branshaw, who had a 61 Friday, had a 64 Saturday and leads by four shots with his 23-under 190 total. That's the lowest 54-hole total in the 13-year history of the Buy.com Tour. The old record was 192 by Chris Smith at the 1997 Omaha Classic.

Points is at 19-under 194, along with second-round leader Jason Gore who lost ground after his 2-under 69.

Patrick Sheehan is alone in fourth at 18-under 195 after a 67 Saturday.
