K.J. Choi (8) |
1:40 pm | Woods improved to 9-3 in the Match Play with Wednesday's win, and has reached at least the quarters each time he's won in the first round. Choi is no stranger to pressure, he's played in the final group on Sunday afternoon twice this season.
Stephen Leaney (12) |
1:50 pm | Leonard avenged last year's loss to Jose Maria Olazabal by beating him Wednesday (also a Ryder Cup rematch), and improved his Match Play mark to 5-4. Leaney won in his first Match-Play appearance since 1999.
Scott Hoch (7) |
Harrington thrashed John Cook 4 and 3, while Hoch did the same to Lehman 3 and 1. For Harrington, the win was his first in the Match Play, he was previously 0-3.
Toshi Izawa (14) |
12:30 pm | Romero is now 4-1 all-time at the Match Play, while Izawa improved to 3-0 in first-round matches. Izawa's never won a second-round match.

Peter Lonard (8) |
2:20 pm | After pulling off one of the biggest upsets in Match Play history, it's hard to pick against Tataurangi in this match.
Jeff Sluman (12) |
2:30 pm | Both Allenby and Sluman had relatively easy times in their first-round matches, and neither has ever made it past the second round.
Darren Clarke (7) |
One of the best matchups of the second round. Love is playing with new confidence after his win at Pebble (not to mention his 6-and-4 thrashing of Paul Casey on Wednesday), and Clarke -- who won the Match Play in 2000 -- has a 7-2 career record in the event.
Steve Lowery (11) |
1:10 pm | A couple of American veterans squaring off here. Furyk has made the third round his last two times playing the event, while Lowery has never been to the third round.

Jay Haas (16) |
2 pm | Another great second-round matchup. The 49-year-old Haas has all the momentum in the world after toppling top-seeded Retief Goosen, but it might not be enough to knock off Maruyama, who has established himself as a Match Play ace (9-3 career record, has never lost before the third round).
Niclas Fasth (12) |
2:10 pm | Price -- who made it to the third round last year -- is coming off a healthy thrashing of Paul Lawrie, while Ryder Cupper Fasth took care of Charles Howell III.
Justin Rose (10) |
A matchup of players who had to rally to beat their first-round foes. Rose was 2-down on the front nine against David Duval before winning in extra holes, and Sutherland was 3-down to Sergio Garcia after 12 before winning the next four.
Adam Scott (11) |
12:50 ET | Scott has had a rough 2003, but played well in beating Bernhard Langer. Mediate lost in the second round last year.

Brad Faxon (9) |
2:40 ET | Another great second-round matchup. These two were in the final-round group together at the Buick two weeks ago, but neither could catch Tiger Woods. Give the edge to Faxon, who's 9-3 lifetime in the event and has reached at least the quarters the last two years.
Jerry Kelly (5) |
2:50 ET | Weir has got to be emotionally and physically drained after Wednesday's 26-hole nailbiter, coupled with his victory at the Nissan last week. Kelly is coming off a walk-in-the-park 5 and 4 trouncing of Thomas Bjorn.
Chris Riley (10) |
Neither are big hitters, so there's no obvious advantage off the tee. Toms reached the quarters last year, while Riley is making his Match Play debut.
Angel Cabrera (6) |
1:30 pm | Neither has a history of success at the event, Cejka is making his debut and Cabrera was 0-2 before his victory Wednesday.
