The dream team pairing at the U.S. Open is showing some cracks ... literally.
According to a Golf Channel report, world No. 3 Adam Scott broke the pinky finger of his right hand in an incident with a car door three weeks ago.
His coach Bruce Harmon said that both Scott and No. 2 Phil Mickelson are still looking forward to joining top-ranked Tiger Woods in their threesome on Thursday. But a source told the Golf Channel that Scott's practice leading up to the event "is limited."
Harmon wouldn't comment on the injury.
Scott hasn't played since finishing 54th at The Players Championship May 8-11. The Golf Channel reported that he did play at Torrey Pines -- the site of the Open -- on Saturday.
Woods has been recovering from knee surgery and just started playing complete rounds last week.
