Olympia Fields C.C.
in Olympia Fields, Ill.
June 12-15, 2003
Hole 18 Par 4, 460 yards The skinny: This closing hole plays into the wind most days. The tee shot must split two bunkers that pinch the fairway in the landing area, leaving a mid-to-long-iron to the huge, sloping green. The putting surface is the toughest on the course, with tough-to-read breaks. In other words, you don't want to need to make a 10-footer here Sunday to secure the Open title.
