Olympia Fields C.C.
in Olympia Fields, Ill.
June 12-15, 2003
Hole 9 Par 4, 496 yards The skinny: This huge dogleg right normally plays as the 18th hole, but Olympia Fields flipped the nines (except 1 and 10). It's too bad, because this has all the makings for a dramatic finishing hole. The tee shot here must land in the left side of the fairway to avoid the bunker to the right. Most players will be left with a long iron to a huge, tilted green that's guarded by bunkers on all sides and a pond to the right. It requires two long, accurate shots just to get to the putting surface, where two-putting will be a challenge. Hole Flyovers | ![]() Course Graphics By: Players' Book Publications |
