Girls Players of the Week



East: Sarah Imovbioh

St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, Va.)

Imovbioh is the op scorer in Virginia with 30.9 points per game. She dominated with 30 points, 22 rebounds and five blocks as St. Anne's-Bellfield topped St. Catherine's (Richmond, Va.), 54-38, to win its fifth-straight LIS tournament title. Imovbloh, a 6-foot junior, also had 34 points last week to go with 22 boards and six blocks in a 63-49 postseason win against Collegiate (Richmond, Va.).

Southeast:Morgan Jones

Lake Mary (Lake Mary, Fla.)

She's a 6-foot-1 junior forward very capable of playing the point or shooting guard, ranked No. 18 in the ESPNU Super 60. With 17.6 points per game, she'll also lead Lake Mary (30-1) against FAB 50-ranked South Broward (Hollywood, Fla.) on Friday night in the state playoffs. Jones had 23 points in a low-scoring, 48-42 win last week over Orange Park (Orange Park, Fla.).

Midwest: Courtney Moses

Oak Hill (Converse, Ind.)

In a 60-48 win last week by Oak Hill over Taylor (Kokomo, Ind.), Moses pumped in 32 points to maintain her phenomenal scoring average at 31.7 per game. The 5-foot-7 senior point guard is headed to Purdue and is a member of the ESPNU Hoopgurlz 100.

Southwest: Hannah Wilkerson

Miller (Miller, Mo.)

The 5-foot-8 senior shooting guard kept up her sizzling play last week with 35 points in an easy win. Wilkerson, who comes from a small town of 800 people, is headed to Missouri State and averages 25 points per game. Earlier this month, she became the all-time career scoring leader from Missouri with more than 3,200 points.

West: Jordan Kelley

Campbell County (Gillette, Wyo.)

The 5-foot-10 junior point guard is putting in 24.2 points per game with 5.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists. Kelley had one of her best outings last week against Sheridan (Sheridan, Wyo.) with 31 points and nine rebounds in a 56-51 triumph. Her game-high this season is 38 points.
