Bay Area Digits

Each month, ESPN RISE finds the numbers to note around the country. Here are September's Digits from the Bay Area:

133: Points scored last season by
Campolindo boys' water polo player
Chris Dyer. Now a senior, Dyer tallied
49 goals and 84 assists, earning him
a spot on the DFAL All-League team.

17:44: Time recorded by Casa Grande's
Jacque Taylor at the girls' cross
country state meet last fall. That
earned her eighth place overall,
and she could be in contention for
the top spot this year as a junior.

6: Touchdowns scored last season by
Menlo School football player Jerry
Rice Jr., the son of NFL great Jerry
Rice. The Class of 2009 WR/RB ran
for three scores, caught two TDs
and returned a kickoff all the way.
