Greater Cincinnati All-Area Football

Here's a preseason look at the players to watch in the greater Cincinnati area:

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS

BUD GOLDEN

Sycamore lost in the regional quarterfinals last
year but looks poised for a better finish this year
thanks to the return of Golden. Last season, he
ran for 1,129 yards and 14 touchdowns.

PAT MULDOON

Muldoon was an integral component in St. Xavier's
run to the Division I state crown last season.
Considered one of the nation's top recruits, Muldoon
racked up 16 tackles for loss and 12 sacks in 2007.

C.J. BARNETT

Rated the nation's No. 16 defensive back in the
ESPNU 150, this Ohio State commit can completely
shut down his side of the field. Barnett tallied
48 tackles and three interceptions last year.

DEEJAY HUNTER

Hunter possesses the skills to help out in both run
and pass coverage. A Tennessee verbal, Hunter
recorded 108 tackles and three sacks last season
and added a kickoff return for a touchdown.

complete player. He's just a freak. He's fun to
watch. He makes a lot of plays. I love that kid.
