PRIME-TIME PLAYERS

TRISTAN AKONG
The Daily News All-City pick from a year ago rushed for 1,371 yards and had 18 total touchdowns (16 rushing, one receiving, one kick return). Expect more of the same this season.

JAMAL WILSON
The Rutgers-bound Wilson makes life easy for the rest of his offense. His massive frame opens up holes for both the running and passing games and intimidates the opposition.

ANDRE CIVIL
Civil, a two-year Sheepshead Bay captain, will join Wilson at Rutgers next year and he'll give the Scarlet Knights a fierce run-stuffer who had 51 tackles and seven sacks as a junior.

STEPHEN OBENG-AGYAPONG
The versatile Obeng-Agyapong has committed to Penn State and legendary coach Joe Paterno, pledging to the Nittany Lions over offers from the likes of Iowa and UConn.

COACH'S TAKE

AN AREA COACH ON ANTHONY BRUNETTI:
"Since his freshman year, he walked onto the field and was physically on par with everyone. I've never seen a freshman come in and be as bruising as him. He'd rather go through you than around you. As a junior and senior, the sky's the limit."
