PRIME-TIME PLAYERS

JOE SOUTHWICK
The Boise State commit has a big-time arm, throwing for 3,185 yards and 35 touchdowns last season to lead San Ramon Valley to the NCS 3A championship.

USUA AMANAM
As a running back last year, the Stanford commit rushed for 1,656 yards and 20 TDs, and as a receiver he scored three times. As a defensive back, Amanam intercepted six passes.

KEVIN GREENE
Greene had never played football until last season, but the 22 sacks he recorded can't be considered beginner's luck. With a 4.45 40 time, Greene coming off the edge is a quarterback's worst nightmare.

CHRIS MARTIN
Martin was dominant last year as a sophomore, starting at outside linebacker and piling up 108 tackles, fives sacks and four forced fumbles. He also intercepted two passes.

COACH'S TAKE

AN AREA COACH ON SIONE TUIHALAMAKA:
"He's going to come at you on every play; he's got a really good motor. He's big and strong, but he can really get off the ball and get into you in a hurry. Against the run he can move offensive linemen sideways, close down and make the tackle."
