Editor's note: The video and profile will be featured. Carl Jospeh has recently been nominated for the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Don't blink your eyes. Don't slap your laptop. The video of the defensive tackle, wearing #63 is real… Yes, he is hopping. No, he does not have a left leg.

This spring, when E:60 returns, Carl Joseph will be profiled. A three-sport star from Madison, Fla., Carl was born without a left leg to a single mother in a family of 11. Carl defied the odds by becoming a three-sport star in high school, using his 6-foot-1 frame to dunk a basketball and captain the football team. He went on to play college football at Bethune-Cookman.

Today, at 47 years old, Carl continues to soldier on. He's taken up coaching high school football and embarked on a new career as the lead singer of his gospel band, Carl Joseph & the Spiritual Tru-Tones. But his athletic exploits have not been forgotten. He was recently nominated to the Florida High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame. E:60 will be there as Carl awaits word on his nomination and takes us back to his poverty-stricken upbringing on a north Florida tobacco farm where the legend of "Sugarfoot" was born.
