Each month, ESPN RISE will rank the top prep basketball team's in each area. Here are the top five teams for the Northeast Ohio area.

1. Harding Seniors Desmar Jackson and Sheldon Brogdon return this winter looking to avenge last year's Division I state semifinal loss to St. Edward.

2. Benedictine Junior Ohio State commit Cameron Wright poured in 18.5 points per game last season to lead the Bengals to the Division II regional title game.

3. Garfield heights The Bulldogs boast one of the state's top inside-outside combos in 5-11 senior guard Carl Jones and 6-8 senior forward Mario Hines.

4. GlenOak The Golden Eagles should score in bunches thanks to smooth-shooting senior C.J. McCollum and juniors Storm Sanders and T.J. Sutton.

5. North Ridgeville The Rangers should have a breakout season behind 6-10 senior center Drew McGhee and 6-5 small forward Keene Cockburn.
