1: Points separating the Benet Academy and Naperville Central girls' volleyball teams on Sept. 19. Benet claimed a tight victory, winning 25-23, 20-25, 25-23 in a matchup of two of the nation's top teams.

2: Individual events won at the 2007 state meet by Rosary girls' swimmer Olivia Scott. The junior comes into this year's meet as the defending champion in the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly.

400: Career wins recorded by St. Ignatius boys' soccer coach Jim Luzzi after a 2-0 victory over Whitney Young on Sept. 2. The 38th-year coach founded the St. Ignatius soccer program.
