Prime Time Players

ERIK MURPHY
Murphy is the premier big man in the state, capable of scoring with his back to the basket or stepping out and shooting a jumper. He has committed to play at Florida next year.

BILLY MARSDEN
Marsden has developed a reputation as a go-to scorer, thanks in large part to his performance in the state tournament last year, when he led Central Catholic to the Division 1 state championship.

CARSON DESROSIERS
Desrosiers is a defensive stopper in every sense of the word. He's capable of blocking 10 shots on any given night, and he recorded several tripledoubles last season.

AKEEM WILLIAMS
Williams led the state in scoring last year playing at Division 4 Avon, scoring more than 30 points per game. His quickness and killer dribble moves should play just as well at Winchendon.

Coach's Take

AN AREA COACH ON BILLY MARSDEN:
"He's the guy you don't want on the other side during crunch time. He always seems to raise his level of play. In the state tournament he took it to another level, hitting shots and getting to the line and carrying them offensively for stretches."
