Prime Time Players
JEREME RICHMOND
Richmond is among the nation's best players in
the Class of 2010. He has supreme athleticism and
is not afraid to show it off by dunking on anyone
who tries to stop him.
CHRIS COLVIN
Colvin stands out even among Whitney Young's
assortment of stars. He can handle the ball, shoot
from outside and drive into the paint at will. He's
the No. 11 point guard in the ESPNU 100.
DARIUS SMITH
Smith is one of the best defensive players in the
area. He always guards the opponent's top
perimeter threat, and also found time to chip in
14.2 points per game last season.
LENZELLE SMITH JR.
The Ohio State commit led Zion-Benton in scoring
(13.6 ppg) and rebounding (7.2) last season
while hitting on 32 percent of his 3-point
attempts. He is also an excellent passer.
Coach's Take
AN AREA COACH ON BRANDON PAUL:
"Real steady with the ball, doesn't make a lot of
mistakes. You don't hear a lot of hype about
him, but whenever he goes head-to-head with
the top guards, it seems like he outplays them.
He's a 'next-level' player."
