Prime Time Players

JAYVAUGHN PINKSTON
The city's top junior, Pinkston will need to pick it up following the transfer of his former teammate, star guard Doron Lamb, to national power Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.).

LANCE STEPHENSON
The No. 7 player in the ESPNU 100, Stephenson led Lincoln to its third city and second state title in his tenure last year. He averaged 23.3 points and 7.3 boards per game.

DURAND SCOTT
Taking over where UConn freshman Kemba Walker left off, Scott was an honorable mention All-City pick by the Daily News last year, averaging 12.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.

KEITH SPELLMAN
A second team All-Brooklyn pick by the Daily News last year, Spellman is an explosive scorer who can go for 30 on any given night. He should be All-City first team this year.

Coach's Take

AN AREA COACH ON TOBIAS HARRIS:
"Tobias has a great feel for the game, something so many kids are lacking these days. You're not gonna be thrilled by his foot speed or athletic ability, but he knows how to play. If his body matures, he can make money playing ball."
