12 student athletes named High School Heisman finalists
From a highly selective field of nearly 34,000 applicants nationwide, Wendy's brought 12 finalists to New York City to reveal the two national winners for the 2008 Wendy's High School Heisman Award. Each finalist embodies the Heisman spirit of hard work and dedication in academics, athletics and in the community.
The 12 national finalists were chosen by a judging panel composed of representatives from education, sports and business, as well as former Heisman Trophy recipients.
