GRANT GELLATLY

ISSAQUAH — FOOTBALL

Gellatly erupted for a career high 313 yards in
the Eagles' 31-28 win over Kentwood in the opening
round of the Class 4A playoffs on Nov 15. The
junior running back shouldered the load on the
ground with 33 carries and found the end zone
three times. Gellatly had a 68-yard scoring run
and added 25- and 47-yard gallops to set up
second-quarter scores. His running was critical
down the stretch, as he allowed
Issaquah to run out the clock and
preserve the victory.

LEONA JENNINGS

MOUNT RAINIER — GIRLS' SWIMMING

Jennings made sure she went out with a bang
in her final appearance at the Class 3A state
meet. She set two state records in winning a
pair of individual events and was an instrumental
member of Mount Rainier's winning 200
medley relay team. Jennings earned a win in
the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.92 seconds
and took the 100 backstroke title at 53.66
seconds, helping the Rams finish fifth at
state. She has committed to attend
Washington next fall.
