PRIME-TIME PLAYERS

BEN SPEAS
Speas plays for the Crew Juniors club team, but area coaches are well aware of his talents. He is rated the No. 8 player in the ESPNU boys'soccer rankings and is a member of the U-17 National Team.

JOE KALT
Kalt was instrumental in the Cardinals' run at state in the fall, setting a school record with 19 shutouts. He helped St. Ignatius finish the year with a 21-match unbeaten streak and win its third state title since 2004.

DANIELLE HUBKA
Hubka was named an NSCAA/adidas All-American and The Plain Dealer's Player of the Year after netting 26 goals and 20 assists. The Maryland recruit also serves as a striker on the U-18 National Team.

MEGAN REPAS
Repas was a first team All-State selection and tallied 26 goals with 14 assists in the fall. She had a knack for making clutch plays for Avon and was named to The Plain Dealer girls'soccer All-Star team in her final year.

COACH'S TAKE

AN AREA COACH ON AARON ADKINS:
"He is one of the most dynamic forwards in the state. He combines speed, skill and ability to get past defenders. He is a natural goal scorer."
