By MaithreyiGopalakrishnanTravis Rice pulled off a routine of epic proportions in the final of the Men's Snowboarding Big Air competition to take the gold. The champion of Big Air is determined by the viewers voting for the athlete with the best moves, and today, the people picked Rice over defending gold medallist Torstein Horgmo. By MaithreyiGopalakrishnanJoe Parsons knows how to finish. He just managed to slip past defending champion Levi LaVallee in the final of snowmobile speed and style. Although LaVallee dominated Parsons in the speed component of this race, Parsons laid down some difficult moves, including a few double back-flips, during his style routine to edge LaVallee for the gold in a tight battle. By MaithreyiGopalakrishnanTanner Hall and Simon Dumont have been battling it out for the gold in Ski SuperPipe for the past five years, but this time, a new event champ was crowned. By 33dukedevil33With the loss by wake forest in the past 2 days the duke blue devils will move up to the number one spot in the country. On Saturday however Maryland comes into town and they will have to validate the number one rank. On Wednesday the game of the year so far will take place when the Devils go into Wake. It will be a good duke defense against the explosive offense of Wake. I can't wait. 7:00 ESPN.
