PRIME-TIME PLAYERS

STUART EDMONDS
Edmonds placed fifth in Division I after claiming the 3,200 title at both district and regionals. He was also the Northeast Ohio Conference champ in the event, helping the Tigers capture the River Division title.

ALEX ERDMANN
Erdmann capped his junior year with a secondplace finish in the 1,600 at the state meet last year. He finished with a time of 4:17.22 and helped the Hudson 4x800 relay team take fifth overall.

KELSIE AHBE
Ahbe has a knack for outdoing herself every time she jumps. As a sophomore, she cleared 12-1 to capture her first state title. Last year, she added three inches to bring home her second title at 12-4.

AMBER SMITH
Smith displayed her versatility last spring by competing in three events at state. She earned a pair of Top 5 finishes in addition to a state title in the 300 hurdles. She also placed third in the 100 hurdles.

COACH'S TAKE

AN AREA COACH ON DWAYNE KING:
"He is an excellent runner. He is well-coached and comes from a good program. He won (the jumps) at state last year. He is very tough."
