PRIME-TIME PLAYERS

OMAR CRADDOCK
Craddock stormed to the triple jump title at last year's Class 4A state meet. He went on to win the triple jump at the Nike Outdoor Nationals and finished second in the event at the Junior Olympics.

LOGAN CUNNINGHAM
After cruising to district and regional titles last season, Cunningham had a bad day at the state meet and placed fourth. But a jump of 16-4 earlier in the year set a Greater San Antonio record.

ASHLEY ISHAM
Isham won't be able to defend her Class 4A state titles in the 1,600 and 3,200 after Vista Ridge moved to 5A this year. But her fifth-place finish at the 5A XC meet in the fall proves she can handle the new competition.

TAYLOR ROSSER
Rosser won the Region IV-5A crown in the shot put last spring and placed second in the discus. At state, she was third in the discus and fourth in the shot put.

COACH'S TAKE

AN AREA COACH ON JASMINE KENT:
"You don't hear very much about her because they are a 2A team, but if you look at her results they hold up across all levels. She just gets it done."
