By HayfellowCongrats to Randy on winning No. 300 but he just had to do it to the Nats right after Jaime Moyer got No. 250 against us over the weekend. Also, Sammy Sosa FINALLY retired officialy. Last time I heard of him was when he was playing for the O's but that was two years ago wasn't it. Well maybe he was secretely playing somewhere in the Nats organization providing them with cork bats.
Weigh in on Randy Johnson's 300th win!NBA
By DonTay_YDE THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS ARE BACK!!! This is a new year with new beginnings for the team of all stars. Kobe Bryant has really been showing his stuff all season, during the conference, and now, the finals. Fisher's game is better than last season's and Pau Gasol's drive is outstanding now. I'm failing to mention all of the other starters on purpose so I can get to the matter at hand. The Lakers won the FIRST game. No need for cheering right now and partying for the purple and gold. Orlando's game was unpredictable last night in my opinion. I saw well executed plays and I even gave Howard kudos.

By eaglenation05 2009 NBA Mock Draft - 1st Round
1) Los Angeles Clippers
Biggest position need: 1st - PG, 2nd - C, 3rd - PF
Baron Davis won't get this team far anytime soon, and the Clippers do need to look into an eventual replacement. Rookie SG Eric Gordan looks like something special, and SF Al Thorton is another young stud that can be counted on for times to come. Now Marcus camby is getting up their in age, and their are many question marks as to whether C Chris Kaman is really the Center than can help get this team back on track. Unless they had a Mike Beasley already playing the PF position, it does not matter what position needs what the most, when you have a player like Blake Griffen in the draft, it is a no brainer than he will be the selection, even with Zach Randolph (who is still in his prime and putting up 20/10 type numbers), Blake Griffen is the franchise player that could finally turn things around for the "other" team in the Staples Center.

By Jets246292 The New Jersey Nets have a lot of options to look at in this years draft, here is one that I like. The one I like, is taking DeJuan Blair, PF out of Pittsburg, at number 11. The Nets could use a good power forward for the future. With DeJuan Blair, you have another hard worker on the glass and a pretty productive offenceise player. With Brook Lopez at center, the Nets would have an inexpierenced yet very talented, backcourt. Then you have thesecond pick where I think the Nets should take either DaJuan Summers or Sam Young if they are available. Both are small forward and play very different styles of basketball. Summers is more of a three-point shooter who doesn't take it to the hoop that often where sam Young has the Body of a PF yet the versatility and the three point shot like a SG or a SF. He would be a suberb steal at pick number 41.
Who do you think the Nets should draft?Stanley Cup Finals
By BoBulus0Alright, I've noticed something. The Stanley Cup Finals games one and two were played on back-to-back nights. Why? To clear television time for the NBA Finals. Also, tonight is the first night of the NBA Finals and game four of the NHL Championship is being played. Why is this going on? I love the NBA Finals, but this is showing so much disrespect to the NHL. Many people I talk to can't stand the NHL or Hockey. I've noticed something. Mostly, it's black people. You may call it racist, but I call it a trend. I don't think that people have taken the time to sit down and actually watch hockey. I don't understand why. Hockey is pretty amazing, exhilarating, and just plain awesome.
