ESPN will release the ESPN RISE FAB 50 national boys' soccer rankings each Tuesday of the regular season and playoffs, continuing through the final games of the various state playoffs around the nation. For the state-by-state rankings, click here.
Quite a bit of shuffling took place in this week's FAB 50 in order to position teams for the stretch run of regular season play. The big winners this week were three St. Louis private schools and Lower Merion (Pa.).
The third-ranked St. Louis squad, Christian Brothers, overcame a strong field, which included seven teams that have been in the FAB 50 or state-by-state rankings, to win the top flight bracket of the Gateway City Soccer Classic. Christian Brothers' impressive showing benefited the two St. Louis schools that have wins over CBC, as SLUH, No. 1 in St. Louis, and St. John Vianney, No. 2, climb in this week's rankings.
Lower Merion makes a big jump this week as the new No. 1 in Pennsylvania. Of course, the future ranking for Lower Merion, along with Don Bosco Prep (N.J.), will be tied to St. Benedict's (N.J.) performance since both teams lost to SBP 1-0.
Rankings through matches played as of Sunday, Oct. 5.
| Rk. | School (City, State) | Record | Prv. | Notes |
| 1 | Sacramento Jesuit (Carmichael, Calif.) | 15-0-0 | 1 | Davis' showing at the Gateway Classic, coupled with Jesuit's wins over top-ranked schools in Oregon and New Mexico, helps solidify the Marauders' place as national No. 1. |
| 2 | Brentwood (Brentwood, N.Y.) | 12-0-0 | 2 | Hancell Guevara scored four goals last week, two in each match, as Brentwood remained perfect with wins over league rivals Longwood and Floyd. |
| 3 | St. Benedict's (Newark, N.J.) | 10-0-0 | 3 | The GrayBees shutout streak was ended after 9.5 matches, yet their two wins over Top 25 teams in the past two weeks justifies the lofty national ranking. |

| 9 | Lower Merion (Ardmore, Pa.) | 10-1-0 | 42 | Lower Merion's 1-0 loss to St. Benedict's keeps looking more impressive as the GrayBees continue to win. Lower Merion moved up to No. 1 in the Pennsylvania soccer coaches state poll following a loss by Downingtown West. |
| 10 | Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) | 7-1-0 | 7 | The Ironmen are ranked No. 1 in the state by the Star-Ledger despite last week's 1-0 loss to St. Benedict's. |
| 11 | TC Roberson (Asheville, N.C.) | 16-0-0 | 15 | Roberson's match with Forestview is seemingly its biggest obstacle for an undefeated regular season. |

Zach Hundelt was named MVP. |
| 18 | Reitz Memorial (Evansville, Ind.) | 15-0-2 | 18 | Reitz Memorial ran its undefeated streak to 42 matches with an easy run through the Strodtman Bracket of the Gateway City Soccer Classic. |
| 19 | Rangeview (Aurora, Colo.) | 10-0-2 | 20 | Rangeview's match with Regis Jesuit next week will help determine this squad's position among the national elite. Regis went 1-1 against a pair of FAB 50 teams at the Jesuit Classic in September. |
