Chargers QB Philip Rivers reached an impressive milestone, becoming the 17th player in NFL history to throw for 40,000 passing yards. Rivers reached the mark on a 23-yard completion on an in route to WR Dontrelle Inman. Rivers finished the first half 16 of 23 for 184 passing yards and three touchdowns passes, including two to Antonio Gates. Rivers has 40,050 career passing yards.
