Artest had been listed as questionable. On Monday, he was suffering from intestinal flu, which caused him to miss the team's practice and subsequent visit to the White House.
Artest is averaging 11.5 points on 42.0 percent shooting this season, his first year in Los Angeles after signing as a free agent in the offseason. He missed five games while recovering from a concussion sustained on Christmas Day and since then posted on his Twitter account that plantar fasciitis in his left and right feet was causing him pain.
When asked about his foot ailment after the Lakers' 106-105 loss in Toronto on Sunday, Artest said, "I don't like making excuses." He wouldn't elaborate on the specifics of the injury.
