CHICAGO -- Los Angeles Lakers backup center Derrick Caracter's sprained left ankle is improving, but he will be a game-time decision Friday night when the Lakers play the Chicago Bulls.
"I think he's going to be all right," Lakers head coach Phil Jackson said.
The rookie big man, averaging 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.3 minutes per game on the season, had limited participation in the team's Friday morning shootaround.
