Jones and Fangupo granted waiver

Two USC football players received an extra season of eligibility, the school announced Friday.

Cornerback Marshall Jones and defensive lineman Hebron Fangupo, both of whom were injured in the third game of the 2009 season, were granted medical hardship waivers from the Pac-10.

Jones and Fangupo each have two seasons of eligibility left.
