Dodgers fans who can't make it to Camelback Ranch for spring training will be able to view more of the team's games on local television than ever before. The club announced Tuesday a record 14 of its games will air on either Prime Ticket or KCAL Channel 9.

Prime Ticket will carry 11 of those games, beginning with one against the Chicago White Sox on March 6. KCAL will air the other three, including the spring finale against the Angels at Dodger Stadium on April 3.

The Prime Ticket broadcasts will be split between the announcing teams of Eric Collins/Steve Lyons and Charley Steiner/Rick Monday. Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully will work the three KCAL telecasts.

All 33 of the Dodgers' spring-training games can be heard on the Dodgers' radio network (KABC 790-AM in Los Angeles; in Spanish on KHJ 930-AM).

The Prime Ticket telecasts, according to a news release sent out by the Dodgers, will be billed as "Camelback Vision,'' meaning that in keeping with the pace and atmosphere of spring training, viewers will receive a no-frills broadcast without a lot of fancy production technology.

Dodgers pitchers and catchers are set to report to Camelback Ranch on Feb. 20 and hold their first workout the next day. The rest of the club will arrive Feb 25 and work out for the first time on Feb. 26.
