Howland home following surgery
UCLA men's basketball coach Ben Howland is resting comfortably at his home after having successful surgery to repair a ruptured right Achilles tendon, the school announced Saturday afternoon.
According to the release, Howland underwent surgery on Friday afternoon at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
There was no word on how the injury happened.
Last September, he had an appendectomy.
