ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Anaheim Ducks re-signed center Kyle Chipchura to a one-year contract extension worth $650,000.
The deal, announced Friday, will keep Chipchura with the Ducks through 2011.
Anaheim acquired Chipchura from Montreal for a fourth-round draft pick in December.
The 24-year-old finished the season with six goals, six assists and 72 penalty minutes in 74 games with both clubs.
Chipchura was a first-round draft pick by the Canadiens in 2004, but has scored just 10 goals in 123 NHL games.
