The Los Angeles Kings will once again be without the services of top defenseman Willie Mitchell, who will miss two to three weeks with a lower body injury.
Mitchell was recently activated from the injured reserve list on Dec. 14 after missing 14 games with a broken left wrist suffered on Nov. 5.
The Kings took a risk on the the oft-injured Mitchell, signing him in the offseason with hopes he could stay healthy and form a solid tandem with Drew Doughty, the team's other top blueliner.
But Mitchell has appeared in just 15 games for Los Angeles this season, recording five points.
