ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Anaheim Ducks once again will be without All-Star goalie Jonas Hiller, who reported to the team Tuesday a recurrence of the lightheadedness that kept him out earlier this month.

A team spokesman said Hiller would be placed on injured reserve and will miss the next three games.

Backup Curtis McElhinney likely will start for the Ducks Wednesday night, as they face the Washington Capitals in Anaheim.

Timo Pielmeier, called up from the ECHL Elmira Jackals, will be McElhinney's backup.

Hiller returned Sunday in a 4-0 win against Edmonton after missing close to two weeks with the same symptoms.
