Garrett: 'I don't think SC falls down'

USC Trojans athletic director Mike Garrett declined to comment Friday night on whether he is about to lose Pete Carroll to the Seattle Seahawks, but he addressed a perception of doom and gloom around the program, with possible NCAA sanctions looming.

"I don't think SC falls down. We're too good. We do things well," Garrett said. "We've had a great history, 11 national championships, we've produced a lot of excellent student-athletes and I don't think that will stop."
