USC's Barkley has wrist surgery

USC quarterback Matt Barkley had arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist Tuesday morning, the school said in a statement.

The school said the procedure was to relieve stiffness and clear up inflammation. Barkley is expected to be ready to participate in spring practice at the end of March.
