Getzlaf to have MRI on ankle

Team Canada and the Anaheim Ducks were anxiously waiting to hear word on Tuesday regarding the health status of star center Ryan Getzlaf.

The Canadian Olympic forward, a major component of the squad, left Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Kings after spraining his left ankle in the second period.

A Ducks spokesman told ESPN.com that Getzlaf was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Tuesday afternoon.
